Delete your HighPoints account
HighPoints is made by Happihack Studios. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, and it takes effect at once.
In the app
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear (settings) in the top right.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the sheet, then confirm.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email support@highpoints.io from the address on the account, or tell us the username. We delete the account by hand within 7 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Every spot you dropped, with its photos and videos.
- Every rating and "I chilled here" attestation you made.
- Your friendships, pending requests, blocks, meet-here invites, awards, avatar, bio, and mood.
- Your email address, sign-in links (Google, Apple), and sessions. The account record is anonymised at once.
What is kept, and for how long
- Photo and video files are removed from storage within 30 days of deletion.
- Reports you sent about other people's content stay, with your identity removed, because they are about that content.
- Server logs are kept for 30 days and then discarded.
Deleting some things instead
You do not have to delete the account to remove something. Any spot, photo, video, or rating of yours can be deleted from inside the app, and it disappears for everyone at once. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
